MIT visits the Lely Environnement recycling facility

Experts at Lely Environnement provided students with an in-depth introduction to the waste sorting and recycling facility. Walking through the plant, students observed the mechanisms behind automated filtering systems and robotic sorting lines. The visit concluded with a drive-through tour of the expansive outdoor wood waste yard, where specialists identified and explained the different categories of wood waste.
